Medical Directors
Medical Direction
For immediate patient needs, Ryan Brothers Ambulance utilizes on-line medical direction from the receiving facility. Ryan Brothers is proud to have two Medical Directors, Dr. John Yost and Dr. Wade Woelfle, who approve all Patient Care Protocols, oversee employee Continuing Education and are instrumental in maintaining Quality Assurance (QA).
Both physicians oversee our QA Committee, which made up of: Steve Zank - CCEMTP - Manager, Jim Lilly - EMT-Paramedic, Kurt Opgenorth - Registered Nurse and Debi Oldaker-Tedrow - EMT-Paramedic/Registered Nurse. All Patient Care reports are monitored for adherence to Protocols and proper documentation. Trends and specific areas of emphasis are then tranlated into our Continuing Education Program.
